Moloch
Sometimes, to understand that globalization is heading, you must narrow your search.
That is why today will limit the scope observation Italian with a well-defined purpose: to show why the word "future" can be safely deleted from our vocabulary and replaced with "this", or because I can claim to live in a country in decline and close to bankruptcy where you can live day to day and not otherwise.
Let me be clear, globalization may well seem a disturbance outside the "Italian system", but the point is that globalization is a phenomenon that transcends the local, the infiltrates with its dynamics, puts it in a historically unprecedented size ee irreversible, as well as inevitable.
Without stand to waste time explaining what globalization is, as its manifestations in the political, economic and cultural, I intend to draw a clear picture of current events, sure to leave something on the street.
(I'll be grateful to receive additions to my shortcomings).
choose an arbitrary starting point: the first article of our Constitution, it states:
The starting point is therefore the work . As we know, labor is a productive activity (intellectual or material) with a view to "contribute to the material or spiritual progress of society" and, for the individual, to make possible the satisfaction of his basic needs (Maslow docet). Flying walk of labor history in Italy, we come to modern times: the introduction of flexibility (or, putting aside the nice euphemisms precarious ) thanks to the Biagi Law , 2003.
Soon the army of call-center, or any other underpaid labor, has soared, allowing individuals to scrape together the immense revenue by reducing wages and rights: if the unemployment rate in Italy is not as high as that of other European countries is all due to the fact that professionals are born by the Biagi law a reality of our significant manufacturing base. Meanwhile, globalization has led to the relocation of industries (read Fiat) and therefore the closure of the Italian plant, drawing water to the mill so that all the League can and will stop except that these dynamics.
The real scientific research, generously supported by other Western countries, Italy is still in year zero: the term "brain drain" effectively sums up the situation. The humanities, which are considered absolutely useless in a country that has an artistic heritage of the first level, are doomed to certain death, as well as those who wish to devote their lives to things "unproductive" as linguistics. A country without research is a country geologically dead.
More drama in the access to the professions is right to select the skills e introdurre "la meritocrazia", ma ciò è perfettamente inutile se poi la burocrazia accademica impedisce la creazione della professionalità costruendo continue barriere (provate a chiedere a coloro che vogliono diventare insegnanti).
As already pay pensions only in ten years? How will the state, and even more local authorities, to provide the services? Well, the last question has an answer for a few: privatization. without considering that individuals have the habit to grow out the cost of these services (with more expensive bills to pay for families in the chamber, very little).
Well, a lot of irons in the fire and it's time to draw conclusions. as well as elementary school children know, the economy of a nation is based on three sectors. The primary agriculture and livestock, living for years in a state of agony, we import products that we grow ourselves. No one would dream of investigating the dynamics that increase the prices of local products: the direct farmers have difficulty competing with low prices of foreign goods, but the real problem lies in distribution, with wholesalers that multiply the price of fruit.
We spread a veil even on the industry: events and the dictates of FIAT Pomigliano have created a split of historic proportions. now on the bosses and bullying will won without even having to really fight. The logic of "chiagne and fuck" Marchionne (who had not a word about Serbia until after the referendum Pomigliano) will be the logic of all the Italian industrialists.
The tertiary sectors of services, until a few years ago looked like a lifeline. Now we realize that even there (and perhaps especially so) spreads the plague these days, the Stalinist purges of Unicredit (4700 redundancies and, according to an article in the Sole 24 Ore, in 2007 its top managers, Alessandro Profumo, earned as follows: " an increase of 39.7% to 9.427 million ... 575mila He also received free shares of the bank, which at the time quoting € 6.812: the package that they did not, however, sold perfume, worth 3, 92 million. Realizing the bonus shares, the fees would increase to 13.35 million of Scent. "
I wanted to run a bit 'in the final, but I think the train of thought, however twisted, it was easy enough to follow. close with two remarks:
1) In light of this it is clear that there can be no fourth sector of the economy everything falls into three categories. The extreme economy in finance in recent years has led to the hypertrophy of the tertiary sector, but now we realize that we live on bread and even a hammer. AREA WHERE THERE IS A QUARTER REPAIR
2) laugh out loud even heard nonsense like "The growth is slowing down" (a phrase that indicates encrypted PROLONGED RECESSION). long half the young people can not find work, and the other half have a job that does not deserve to even be qualified as a profession, until the fifties continue to be fired (mo 'Go and search a job), as long as we continue to tolerate the squandering public money and tax evasion (especially by multinational companies), particularly not until the brakes and adjust to the global market, Forget out of the crisis.
So, what is globalization in Italy? A moloch invisible, a kind of bad deity to call in question to hide the truth of the matter: mechanisms of work-in-training, lack of research and the fact of being ruled by inept Burini are condemning us to a future without a future.
